My Top 10 Street Fighter Waifus

This is probably the only series I will ever do this for as it is the only video game series where I can actually name 10 different ladies who grabbed my attention this way. Like Mortal Kombat I'd probably have trouble justifying more than a top 4 or 5. With that said, let's start the list...

#10 Seth

Most will consider this a strange inclusion because Seth started as the male antagonist of Street Fighter IV. But that right there is the main appeal for me. The whole gender bender thing has been a small bit of a kink for me ever since I watched Ranma 1/2 back in the 90s. And while girl Seth looks amazing, that's also the only reason she makes the list and is this low on the list.

#9 Karin

Back when Karin was originally created she ranked much higher for me than she does now. But many of the others on this list either didn't exist yet or didn't really have their character on display as well as they do now.

Karin herself is at first portrayed as a stuck up rich girl who is Sakura's rival. That anime stereotype laugh she does was very similar to Naga the Serpent from Slayers back then. A laugh I give my own character at times. But her role in the story of Street Fighter V did a good job of giving her more of a look of a caring person. Overall she's pretty to look at and entertaining putting her here on my list.

#8 Crimson Viper

A lot of people like C Viper because she is essentially a MILF. While I will not deny that she is a MILF that's not the reason I like her. For me it's her being a beautiful red head with an amazing sense of style. Her outfits are sexy but manage to also have an awesome fashion flair to them. One thing holding her back as a fighting game waifu for me however is... I kind of hate actually using her in the games.

#7 Rainbow Mika

R Mika at one point ranked below Karin for me because back when she was originally added to the series, I just didn't know much about her. But as someone who used to really love pro wrestling I've come to really appreciate her determination, enthusiasm, and her odd little quirk of using her butt as a weapon.

#6 AKI

AKI is the embodiment of this is a bad idea but I can't help myself anyhow. She's crazy and deadly but beautiful. She's incredibly dedicated and might rank higher on this list if her being a DLC character meant we didn't get to see much into her due to not being in game during the main story.

#5 Elena

Elena is a superbly beautiful woman with a heart of gold. If this list wasn't mainly a big ball of fantasy, Elena might make the best girlfriend out of all of them if she were a real person. She's the only person in the series that I'm aware of who is able to act friendly with Akuma. She's a real keeper... also dem feet!

#4 Poison

Formerly a random minion character from the Final Fight games, Poison has always been pure undiluted sex appeal. Putting her in the Street Fighter games has only made her better by giving her that S&M queen with handicuffs edge.

#3 Sakura

Sakura is one of 3 perfect tomboy characters I feel we got in the 90s. Her, Rebecca Chambers, and Yuffie Kisaragi. She's a delightfully wholesome dedicated character who for some reason keeps wearing a school girl outfit years after the fact. She's cute and has plenty of sex appeal too especially with having a spin kick that is entirely designed to give an upskirt shot.

#2 Cammy White

Cammy is formerly my #1 girl. A lot of people absolutely love Chun Li but there wasn't a Street Fighter girl that grabbed my attention until Cammy showed up. A beautiful blonde with amazing legs and butt who isn't afraid to show them off. And over the years her tragic backstory and desire to save her "sisters" is inspiring.

#1 Juri Han

I liked Juri from the moment they introduced her, but it took awhile before I would say I ranked her higher than Cammy. I do have a minor thing for feet but in the game she debuted in the feet on every character model was the same size, so women had the same oversized feet as Ryu in Street Fighter IV.

The next couple games however came massive improvements to the character models as well as Juri's portrayal as a character. She's still not a character who would ever be considered a good guy but she also has a lot more moments where she leans into being an anti-hero rather than a pure villain character.

She's a beautiful woman, with an interesting character, while also leaning heavily into that "I could fix her but whatever is wrong with her is way hotter!" category.
