For explanation behind this. This actually happened specifically in Magic Arena. But using Lightning (Isshin, Two Heavens as One) and I was facing a Thanos who was stacking up the +1/+1 counters like crazy while he kept smashing my creatures like crazy. I used the "Fight On" revival spell to get Yuffie and Barret back out for them to get smashed again.
I had Summon: Bahamut in my hand. I literally had it in my hand since the start of the match but I didn't have enough mana to get him out. The match got to a moment where Thanos could finish me off. He had a few minions up too and Bahamut was the only card in my hand while I had 8 untapped mana. Thanos just didn't attack me all the sudden. I can only guess he must have assumed I had some ultimate counter card in my hand, but on my turn I drew the 1 mana I needed and threw Bahamut out. Blasted Thanos off the field once. He must not have read Bahamut's card to see what it does cause he used Mana to put Thanos back out so he got blasted again. Heavily increasing his mana cost and then after a moment he ragequit because I think he realized Bahamut was gonna blast away his life points as all this also gave me time to get more creatures out I was drawing.
